Having never heard J4 I can't comment on this directly, but given the amount of confusing legal info flying around recently I just thought this was worth mentioning: You can do a cover of any song you want, _without_ getting prior permission, as long as you give a mechanical royalty to the publisher of the original song. --Seofon
