Yes, we should tolerate this. Given the limited number of stores out there that specialize in our type of music, I welcome any sales posted on the list, especially when the records offered are rare ones. Not to mention that so far, I have not seen the list getting bogged down with an over abundance if these postings. ---Empetus@aol.com

Let me start of by saying that the volume of "sales" especially commercial on this list is quite small, respectful of the intent of the list, and really not a problem. We have very little to complain about. (Those that have complained have noted this as well.) However, there ARE places to advertise your store (no matter how desparate we are for tracks and limited editions!) on the net other than via an email list. The rotator locator is excellent in principal and having a dedicated company website works lovely as well. Now I'll contradict myself again: How come we complain when it comes to "conventional" type advertising a la "here's my stores stuff and here's how to pay" but we DON'T get riled up when a label ADVERTISES a tour, rave, event, etc. Are we being too inconsistent???? Its probably not broke so lets not fix it yet. Dave
