This is ridiculous, the list is what it is. Most of what I see is
disscusion of new IDM releases or older releases that have had influence on
the newer stuff. Big deal.

Electronic styles evolve quickly. Sorry no-one is listining to what you
want them to, but most of what gets discussed doesn't get dicussed on
alt.noise, alt.ambient, alt.d'n'b, or alt.etc. So here we are.

If you want musician talk there are plenty of lists out there. But RDJ
probobly ain't on them either.
It has

The "This list sucks, but I don't have anything to add to make it better so
I think I'll whine about it" thread seems to pop up a lot too.

And many are not, so what? If I work in IT does that mean I lose the right
to listen to whatever the fuck I want?!?! myself and all of my IDM

way my ears recieve soundwaves.

I think most music or art related mail-lists get people crying sell-out.
This list isn't any different. By the way, how exactly do you get email
access in your glass house?

Well, most cd-r's, and 12 inch singles have extremly limited runs because
the lables releasing them don't have much money, and even if they did why
would a small label print 10,000 random unknown artist cd's that may not
sell. Should we all ignore random unknown artist because of the small press
run? That's the nature of underground music in general. It costs more per
unit to have a small number of cd's/LP's pressed so if that raises the
price, I guess we should only by stuff distributed through sony.

Why don't we listen to what we buy beforehand? Why are 99 out of 100 major
label releases duds? HAHA, we here in normal world are subjected to far
more backstreet boys/Brittney Spears marketing hype than the IDM kind.
Hmmm, does a couple AFX videos or some limited edition LP's mean that the
genre has tapped itself out?
