for whoever asked about pharma records,
in case you don't know, there's a compilation out now on mille plateaux of hip-
hop/electro stuff from various force, inc. types, including alec empire, ian
pooley, 4E, himadri and two or three tracks licensed from pharma records, incl.
"bassphemic village" and a zulutronic track. the comp. is called "Electric
Ladyland" and it has a cheesy kung fu art job. i listened to it a bit in the
store, but i wasn't in the mood, and it didn't sink in. but note the spelling
of "ian poopley" on the sticker on the cd.
while we're on the subject, anybody keep tabs on skint records in england? for
yanks with small bank accounts, will they ever release a compilation?
also, anyone heard the orange egg compilation? the freaky chakra remixes EP?
