Actually, I've seen them in quite a few places (at least in downtown
Toronto); HMV, Sunrise Records, Lichtmann's, Book City, The World's Biggest
Book Store, etc., I've purchased Select from all these places depending on
where I was when I realized a new issue may be out. And the NME and Melody
Maker is carried in these store and more besides, some convenience stores
even. I don't know about the suburbs but all three are fairly readily
available downtown.
Wackily, just got the December Select today. Stone Roses on the cover,
review of a Chem Bros gig, article on UFOs, bad review of the new DJ Food (I
liked it, damn it! I mean 'The Dusk' alone, wow), fortunately loved the new
Ken Ishii. I think the issue was suppose to come in a box with a bunch of
other junk (chips, postcards, etc.) but I guess nothing but the mag itself
got past customs. Oh well.
Listening to the new DJs Krush and Food, Black Grape (I don't do what you
do/And you don't do
what I do/But you should do.../You)
Cheers.
