The Elektroids single WAP65/WAP65CD was poor IMHO. The Elektroids album WARP CD/LP/MC 35 _Elektro World_ is stunning and it is a pity this record is being overlooked. A few of the tracks are equal to some of those on _Computer World_ to which it pays homage. High praise indeed :) I have been catagorically told by Steve at WARP that the Elektroids are not Drexciya. He and I were both surprised that anybody thought them similar as the music sounds totally different. This is part of the press release for Elektro World: background: Based in Flint Michigan, usa, the four young sons of an electrician, known simply as the elektroids have welded to gether there debut album. inspirations: ...is a a personal tribute... to Kraftwerk. greg g The WARP Web Site 3 0 3 http://www.ncl.ac.uk/~n264671/wap-indx.html
