Hi folks,
This isn't strictly a 100% IDM related post, so my apologies of anyone feels
the need to haul out the flamethrowers ... but I'd appreciate any feedback
you'd care to give ...
I purchased a CD direct from Warp [RAC - 'Diversions'] recently, arrived
with a pleasant 'thunk' on my doormat, proceeded to play it. It wasn't RAC.
Strange ...
Contacted Warp, who confirmed that there were a small number of CD's mis-
pressed; it was an album by The Troggs ['Walk on The Wild Side', IIRC],
not an EP/single by RAC.
So now I'm stuck with a CD that's in an RAC case, RAC inlay card, RAC CD
label, but the tracks are wrong. Before I haggle with Warp to get a new
one [presumably right one this time], would I be better off keeping it as
a rarity [does it actually have any value -- it's still technically mint],
or writing it of as a bad experience and sending it back.
Anyone with any know-how in this matter that has a couple of minutes to
spare, please get in touch.
Cheers guys and gals,
Pete
