Has anyone else got the `Icct hedral` promo (WAP 63) ? I picked it up on CD
on Saturday, there was no information with it, four mixes at a total length
of 24 minutes. The first mix had an almost Carribean, steel drum feel to it
and was excellent. One of the mixes sounded like an extended version of the
one `I care...` and one sounded like the much-vaunted Philip Glass full-on
string orchestra treatment. A brilliant set of tracks, I`ve no idea when
it will be released or in what format (2xCD ?). I guess Greg 303 would be
able to tell us if he was still online. I also saw the `Sabresonic` promo
but didn`t fancy buying it again, to be honest I`m quite disappointed and
confused about Warp re-releasing it but I still think they`re one of THE
best labels.
Sorry to ramble on so much and sorry about the poor standard of the `review`
its not something I`ve tried before.
