For those of you on the west coast you should check this out: I myself plan on attending (9 hour drive). Derek ------------------------------------------------------------ A guy with the the Goethe Institute got ahold of me at KALX with some info on the 'Tuetonic Techno Temple meets SF House' party at DV8 on Wednesday the 21st. Here goes: DJ lineup: SF --- Markie Henrik Robbie Hardkiss Jon Williams Germany & elsewhere -------------------- Marusha Westbam Hardsequencer Jeff Mills Joey Beltram Mark Spoon Patrick Pulsinger Lester Young Upstart Erdem Tunakan Blake Baxter Talla 2 XLC Pascal FEOS Dr. Motte Davis Maas Visuals: Synergy Pure Hyperdelic Donavan They're going to be using all 4 floors of DV8, from 10pm-6am, and the Gardening Club is also going to do a special ambient installation at the Caribbean Zone behind DV8. This is a special event of the 95 'Making Waves: 4th Annual SF Music Day' and the German contribution to the UN-50 celebration. For a technohead like me, this is easily the most exciting thing to blow through town all year! See you there, - franklin minor minor

I might be entirely wrong about this but I think this is where I got these. The Moby/Aphex/Orbital/Vapourspace tour of late 1993, See the Light Tour or something. This was where Mr. James had that guy dancing around on the stage much like Caliban in Prospero's Books...did they not give out free gum at this event? And was it not called Busted! and was supposed to have a few gumballs in each bag which were super hot but really weren't....nevertheless this was the best gum I ever had. Anyway I just found a few old bags of the stuff left over from that night, so should I eat them or auction them off or just ask whether or not they still make this and is it available, or was it just some skaters who made some gum for a while like those *horrible* sodas we have in socal...or should I rewrite this into a grammatically correct sentence? Many thanks. Sorry. :( einexile, caliban of listdom

You think you got something cool out of it? The dancing guy offered me a piece of his double-decker sandwich. Needless to say, I turned him down. You don't know WHERE he's danced before. Really cool show though. Mistress of Lunchmeat
