my computer has been down for a couple of months so if someone discussed this sorry!! I have been listening to their album spatial specific, and each time I hear it,the album keeps growing on me. I heard that they also released some singles and I was wondering if they were on plus 8 or something else. I was also curious if any singles from the album have been remixed or if they have been doing any remixes? thanks james jpokorny@esu2.esu2.k12.ne.us

I remember back in '93 they did a 12'' on silent records called 'time tunnel' and it was very limited then. You might want to talk to someone at Record Time, maybe they have some 12'' from them, or possibly some remixes from 'spatial specific'. recordtime@aol.com Really great record, though I wish I could've waited to get the actual release(w/ artwork) instead of the bland white label 2LP. I beleive that these early eps were on Post-Contemporary records from somewhere in ontario, canada. One is called midnght genius and it (and the butthole surfers samples and the cool endlessgrooves) make it a winner for me :) later, brad /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\-> brad finlay <-/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\-> ectographics, montreal <-/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\-> ecto@magnet.ca <-/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

They're from the burlington/hamilton area. I have the midnight genius ep and the lock grooves are wicked but unfortunately have gotten a bit overused since i first got it. I believe they are playing in toronto sometime soon (sat may 20th??) on the same day that scanner plays live at the planetarium (which should be very cool!). karl

As well as the Time Tunnel (12PCON7) and Midnight Genius (12PCON9) singles released on Post Contemporary, that have already been mentioned, there is the Incarnate 'Convolution EP' which is mutations of stuff on the PCON7/PCON9 EPs. This is on Death Of Vinyl UK (Luddite 188). Apart from a couple of their Eternal Opuscule closed groove thangs the tracks on here are also on the Spatial Specific LP in other forms. Hope that makes sense but these releases seem very incestuous. I actually quite like the idea of the closed groove tracks - some of them really are pretty wild ! Jon Burrell OnNow: Radiowaves 4
