Question about DAT & INSTINCT.

Got 2 questions here. 1. I'm looking for a reasonably priced DAT deck. This kind of gear is virtually unavailable in South Africa and when it is it's extremely overpriced. I need to be able to master my original music digitally so that I can have good quality and protable recordings. Any suggestions on price or availability. I need something that's in the region of about R2000 (that's somewhere $500-$600). I know pro studios use DAT and other digital formats here in this country but the established recording studios can go and get stuffed with their ripoff prices per hour. Anyway all my gears set up in my own studio. Anyone out on the list who might be able to receive some money from me and mail a DAT deck out as a "gift". This is the only way I can dodge the 100% import duties in S.Africa therefore saving a pile. 2. Can someone tell me instinct records email address? B.T.W. All of you who are waiting for _RED FRIDAY_ tapes, please be a little patient 'cos I'm still writing exams. Anyone else who wants to hear some chilled/danceable South African music please let me know. I might have to ask for a nominal fee to cover postage and tapes etc. but I'll let everyone know if I have to.
