I just picked up a copy of the Rising High Collective double EP
(Tangled in my thoughts/Liquid/Feel the Fire), and I really like it --
particularly Tangled in my thoughts, which used vocals over
house/trance/acid to good effect.
The original mix is quite progressive, but with acid breaks -- the
hardfloor mix slightly more trancey, with an age of love style
backing....
Liquid and Feel the Fire are far more mellow and ambient, with the
latter having a somewhat dubby feel to it, and the Perry and Rhodan
remix of Liquid is a nice piece of bouncy trancey progressive house
with looped vocals.
All in all, I'm quite pleased with it
I'd be interesed to know (a) how old this release is, and (b) whether
there are any other Rising High Collective releases I should look out
for....
