On the subject of old people and IDM, my dad often grabs tapes from my room
to listen to in his car, and has developed a taste for Orbital's 1st (he almost
bought Orbital II himself) and also the Will Orbit remixes of Kraftwerk. My
gran is going to buy a tape player so she can listen to my ambient DJ tapes
(her and the over-50 club like to share a spliff or two and chill out :) and
my mum also likes ambient stuff (esp AA's Mountain Goat). On the other hand,
my brother hates it all cos he says "its all made by people on drugs!"
I don't know where the idea for a house mailing list came from cos hardly
anyone on idm talks about house but then again it wouldn't do me any harm so
go for it!...
