I talked to Richie Hawtin yesterday, and he mentioned he heard the new AI comp.. He panned it and mentioned that Warp might be dropping the project soon, because it's become such a pretentious and silly element in an increasingly snotty and elitist English scene.. The complaint is that the artist's heads are getting too big for their shoulders, really causing a bad vibe.. I don't think I'd mind it too much if Warp dropped the project, cause they were releasing perfectly wonderful stuff before AI that didn't have such a pretention about it.. ** ******** ********** ********** ******** **Born.Under.A.Rhyming.Planet. +8 Records, Chicago, Il.
