exodus 8:2.. numerous references to it throughout the film (storefronts, street signs, etc). rather subtle, but there.. exodus 8 deals with moses and the rain of frogs; all of that good silly stuff in the bible. oops. but, wonderful film again. sort of a flowing, "operatic" experience with great performances from everyone, especially john c. reilly (who played the police officer) and tom cruise (wow). i even liked julianne moore a good deal; most reactions to her are of love or hate, but i feel she is a very solid actor (boogie nights, myth of fingerprints...). everyone ought to see it (again, even!). and, uhm, i like autechre (had to put some idm content in there). - wells oliver / s0ewoliv@titan.vcu.edu " The ball is round.
