let's see... astralasia's "pitched up at the edge of reality (just around the corner from the local tandoori)" has a similar feel in spots. if the tranquility bass "broadcast standard" thing ever comes out for real, that would be a good choice. try any of the ambient dub CDs on Beyond Records - they're all good but i think i like #2 marginally better than #1 and #3. dub syndicate occasionally gets into that territory - "stoned immaculate" is probably closest. african head charge's last two have some SC3ish moments - titles are "songs of praise" and "(in pursuit of) shashamane land". that's all i can think of right now. /jon
