Recoil = idm? Possibly... thought never crossed my mind though. His first album is more ambient in a Philip Glass-esque fashion, while the second "Bloodline" is too variable to really pin any sort of classification scheme on it. Which is goodin theory. I remember the brief period in 1992 when I bought this along with a couple of Frontline Assembly albums and noticed some similarities, except Alan put quite some effort into not having all the songs sound the same. (This was before I discovered the wonders of Delirium, so no pro-FLA flames, please). I still have mixed feelings about Bloodline but "Freeze" is a true classic and makes the purchase worth it no matter what the rest of the songs are. ------------------------------------------------|----------------------------- "categories strain, crack, and sometimes break | Harvey D.
