Thanks for the links, I checked them out - i am spoonbender sounds interesting although I haven't heard the audio yet. One thing is, though, that these seem to be all bands that use electronic sounds as opposed to, well the opposite - an electronic foundation with effected instruments and other electronic sounds layered on top. In the second case (which is what I am looking for) the instruments act as voices, sometimes primary sometimes not, and they don't have to be present in all sections. I think there can also be a difference in approach (form, etc) but not necessarily. Maybe I'm making a mistake with this distinction, afterall I haven't heard this stuff yet! I just got the feeling from info/photos on the websites that it's mostly band first and electronic to fill/colour. What do you think? Does anyone know of any groups who fit here? Andrew
