I got an On promo cd single from sire today:
1. on
2. 73-yips
3. xepha
4. on (reload mix)
I have the single on vinyl and have been listening to "on" at 33 for
awhile now, which, after listening to the cd, appears to be the wrong
speed since it sounds like it's being played at 45! I know this has
happened to other people with Aphex's stuff but On just sounds silly
at this speed. The bass is soooo much deeper at 33 and the piano line
sounds "right". Whatever, I guess I just won't play it at the
"correct" speed...
