Hey, don't despair. It might well just be around the corner. Check out the the Mayan calendrical predictions for Dec 21st 2012, which intersects the Timewave Zero program (T McKenna and P Meyer). This date is not arbritrary like the current Gregorian conception which only estimated a Zero date based on second hand knowledge of the birth of Christ. This date is more or less based on astronomical calculations and a phenomena called 'precession of the equinoxes'. For more info check out: http://www.levity.com/eschaton/Why2012.html Sorry for the short non-idm related bandwith but I had to reply to this. On the music front, I recently obtained the Jake Mandell - Quandom Current LP on Force Inc. Interesting, I've yet to wrap my head around this one, but there is a Stewart Walker remix track on this album which is good. Any thoughts on this release and how it it different from his Worm Interface album? What is his WI stuff like? Cheers, A.
