exact or not.

i wouldn't put more than 70 minutes on a cd. maybe it's just
superstition, but i reckon the edges get dirty and damaged sooner
than the middle, and if there are any slight manufacturing flaws the
effect would be magnified towards the edge. if the drive has been
designed with no spare anything then it might be at the edge of its
engineering tolerance too - meaning that the tracking has a greater
chance of failing right at the outside edge.
but then i am a nervous type. i know some scary people that go right
up to the 74, or more, even on commercial mass market releases!
