Slide and LP5 were incredibly inspiring when they were first
released, still are. At the time of their release I was 2-3 years out of
highschool and had been making hip hop beats for about four years... and I
was incredibly bored with it. Then, Autechre. Being a very impressionable
youngster, I was damn lucky to be exposed to them and Warp during
their heyday. I mean, good gravy, the amount of times I got the chills!
