I was kind of perplexed at Apple's decision to do this as well, but the copy of Logic you're still (?) using wasn't magically rendered unusable once Windows support was ended, was it? There are a multitude of options without having to buy a Mac. Ever heard of Digital Performer? Sonar? Nuendo? Pro Tools? :P Secondly, Microsoft has done similar things. Hell, even Adobe has done the same thing. They canceled the Mac version of Premiere a while back because they couldn't stand how popular Final Cut Pro is getting... Basically FCP was totally eating their lunch, so they pansied out and cancelled the Mac version of Premiere. They couldn't stand the competition. I kind of agree with you though about eMagic/Logic, but hey, Apple *is* a business. And one that isn't perfect. -- Mr. Tangent [the binary police] www.mrtangent.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
