Mr. Mips hosts another one of his seasonal bashes featuring cutting
edge local acts.
CLASSIC PLUS - Super Trio consisting of Ryan Rasheed (East Dev), Randy
Castello (The Flakes, The Beach, Tight Bros) and Coby (Magic Hospital).
These three rock the house with an electro house twist, slice of dirty
south hip-hop, and a guitar garnish.
ZANO - Blowing up, challenging minds, his nonstop delivery of wordforms
and abstract messages wows the crowd as his self produced 'beats from
the street' hammer it home. This guy is the real deal.
PHONEPUNK - Adam Bruneau from 'Super Madrigral Brothers' rocks it with
phone in hand. Declared to be a genius by those who know him, loved by
everyone who meets him, Adam and his partner never fail to deliver.
Ever danced to a phone?
CIPHER KENNI - Discovered pounding the streets of Atlanta selling his
Kinkos copied CDs, Cipher Kenni represents the true future of Atlanta
hip-hop. Forget the Little Jons and Ying Yangs (though they are also
good), this is not candy-hop. I like to refer to him as MF DOOM's
younger brother, streetwise. He told me all his music is produced from
a Playstation, then he lays the vocals in a studio, which is amazing
considering I thought he was using an MPC (yes, the production quality
is that good).
DJ MANGE - Says his middle finger has two purposes, depending on your
sex. whatever.

LIE & SWELL - Atlanta's avante garde jazz representatives. They
haven't played a live show in a while so we know the performance will
be explosive. Mr. Mips will join the group for the final 10 minute
climax. You will appreciate the dichotomy. A must hear event
experience.
RAT THREADS - Jangle noise super group. This spot is tentative for a
number of reasons, hit me up if you think you can fill the bill.
NTSC PAL - Adam Bruneau's expressive television performance. He uses
contact mics, magnets and old televisions to produce a stunning
audio/visual experience.
MR. MIPS - On this night Mr. Mips will have become exponential.
