I'ven't heard either release, so it's not a comment on any inherent
qualities of the records or their perceived 'goodness' or likeability,
but..
it does seem kind of weird for a record to be praised on the "idm" list
because it has "more vocals and more real instruments," two things that
idm generally doesn't contain.
i personally dislike vocals in general which is why i've been such a fan
of idm, and although i'm not saying that music with vocals or real
instruments are bad, you're more likely to bump into people who *don't*
like vocals and real instruments on this list compared to, say, most other
music lists.
nothing wrong with that. just a dissenting opinion.
