Seriously, the hour line for will call defeated the purpose of buying tickets ahead of time. The sound was WAY too loud for the size of the venue, where you can't help but stand 10 feet in front of one of the speaker stacks. I was pleasantly surprised by Viberts set, but was disapointed by Tom's (and I really went in with an open mind.) It's too bad, the Hollywood Athletic Club could be a good venue if it got it's act together. I still had a great time and it was a kick to see Tom, there were some really fun moments in his set. Also, I didn't understand why for Vibert's set there was a plethora of cool lighting and projections, but during Squarepusher all they did was unleashed strobe lights on us from the stage the WHOLE time. -JM
