Dude take your Ritalin, I don't know how misunderstood
such a short post.
The irony is that it's an anti-imperialist holiday
celebrated by an imperialist country. The Guardian
article mentioned lots of other details that are quite
amusing, so look for it if you are interested.
But speaking of tykes & grandmas and holidays,
Thanksgiving is a pretty absurd myth that is
celebrated. Of course, fake and sanitized history is a
very important part of the American experience.

No that's not the same article that I was referring to
in the Guardian, but there have been many regarding
the US and it's quest for Empire.
