Lynnfox is/are the culprit(s). http://www.lynnfox.co.uk/MainPage.htm -----Original Message----- From: Richard Barnett [mailto:richard.barnett@pobox.com] Sent: June 10, 2003 9:23 To: idm@hyperreal.org Subject: [idm] FC/Kahuna "Hayling" video I caught this video at the gym and have to say it's pretty impressive. Hafdís Huld <http://www.etoile-polaire.com/hafdishuld/music.htm> singing at a grand piano, which slowly unfolds hybrid robotic/organic arms into strange and ambiguous forms. A RealMedia version of the video is linked from <http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/dance/video_fckahuna2.shtml> It was reminiscent of Chris Cunningham or Meam; I've googled for information about the maker but couldn't find any. Anyone know who's responsible? The music's rather good too: chilled low tempo, nice vocals, over (I think) a Tangerine Dream loop (one of the tracks of Stratosfear, but I can't verify as I've lent my copy out). The "Machine Says Yes" album is all great, IMO, but it's a lot more "big beat" than much of the list's content. -- Richard --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
