while i can agree with aspects of this, it has nothing to do with the fact that we're about to go to war with iraq. it has nothing to do with the questionable reasons that my friends and peers are going to end up in places they dont want to be, fighting for a cause they dont believe in. it has nothing to do with the questionable motives behind the actions our government is taking.

we're _both_ in the wrong here. we said we would give them aid if they wouldnt build nuclear weapons to exploit food and energy from other countries. we arent helping them enough, so they're building nuclear weapons. i can see how their cause is "right," really. i understand that they are hungry, but they're going about it in the wrong way. i really do feel for them, and if we take military action against them, i'll also show that i disagree with that as well. these are two separate issues.

if you really want to make a difference, post a link, or a phone number, or an address, or anything providing information on donating money to the north koreans instead of trying to tell people they're better off ignoring one cause for another. there is nothing idealistic about taking action for what you think is right. if that statement is incorrect, then please stop sending your idealistic emails containing unrealistic requests. oh. right. send these people a $20 bill and hope it gets there.
