Underworld, yeah they had a few decent tunes in the
past. Everything after Second Toughest Infants sucks
pretty hard!! What's up with Darren Emerson? That
Underwater comp he just put out is the biggest lump of
progressive trance/house shite I've heard in ages.
Regarding Aphex Twin, "Drukqs" is sort of a return to
form, although it's not even close to his earlier
work. I left the cd in my car for a few weeks and
tired of it quickly. I think there are a lot of filler
tunes that could have been cut. "Gwely Mernans" is
excellent, sounds like SAW II. "Bbydhyonchord" and
"Meltphace 6" are really great tunes!!
Windowlicker and Come To Daddy were rather blah in my
opinion. Excellent videos but a big let down
musically. Luckily there is one good tune IZ-US on
Come To Daddy, so it's not a total let down.
