Yes! One of the most underrated albums of the 80s if you ask me. I actually still use "Jewel" (the instrumental version) as the theme for my radio show.

He and protégé Steve Lipson (who went on to produce all the Annie Lennox solo stuff) seemed to have shared duties on all the ZTT Propaganda stuff.

Agreed. Personally, I think he's the best record producer ever, of any style in any era. I don't agree with all his choices (Tina Turner? Rod Stewart?), but he's amazing in the studio. Has anyone heard Tatu, the new Russian-teenage-lesbian group (really!) he's supposed to be working with? I haven't yet.

One of which was Act, a collaboration with Thomas Leer, again produced by Steve Lipson. I think I read recently that their ZTT album (Laughter, Tears and Rage) is about to be remastered/reissued by someone or other with extra tracks, etc. There was talk, too, of Propaganda getting back together and doing another record, but after the huge disappointment that was 1,2,3,4 (which had what, one original member?) I couldn't get too excited. Oh well, that's probably enough fawning fanboyism for one post. I'm off to dig out Lexicon of Love or Welcome to the Pleasuredome...
