What's the definition of a "combination?" obviously if the calculation was "x possible tones, x possible length," then it's a very easy calculation. however, as there's no limit to the length of a performance, and any possible combination of notes could have the same 'infinity' problem that any number has, I don't see how the calculation is possible. All you'd have to do is say "combination +1 note" and it's new.
