I had a feeling this would come up.. so let me lay it
down this way.. @_@
Besides the passion i have for the band and the
continued support with just about everything Jack
has laid his hands on, i'm simply continuing to
promote a band that has been the underdog for
too many years. As someone on the list pointed
out, "..jack dangers laid the groundwork for so
much of this 'idm' shit or whatever...you kids need
to do your homework.." --that pretty much says
it all.

"Eccentric Objects" focuses on the obscure musique-
concrete styled field-recordings/sample infested sound
and compliments that era of genre-breaking music
quite well. I wouldn't really compare "Eccentric Objects"
with "RUOK?".. instead, on "RUOK?" you get your
usual MBM rhythms & wide basslines tied to a few
analog-experimental tracks.. then you have the great
downbeat yet funky moments like "SuperSoul" and
"What does it all Mean".. --top stuff..
Well, i hope i don't sound too biased to the Meat Beat
sound.. i think Jack is a true innovator of the beat and
deserves some credit..
