this is very cool to see an appreciation of the indian musical vibe...
i myself am working on some droney raag (raga) stuff... not like
the ragga jungle, but indian classical raga (forgive me for those
that know all about this)...
but with tabla beats and dub bass... and the lead instrument being
my guitar. i've studied some of the raag scales and melodic forms.
and it will be as much of an actual raag as possible... but with the
electronic element of dub bass...
i'm curious if anyone out there would be interested in hearing something
like this. it would be lengthy melodic improvisations (with a definite
melodic framework of course) over droney repetitive dub bass tabla beats.
i'd love some suggestions on the kinds of atmospherics that people would
like to hear over something like this. i've already got some groovy
vibraphone sounds going
