Ok, let me ask you this... How can you tell if someone is dj'ing or playing "live" ...if you've never heard their music before? What's the point of labeling music as being better or worse based on the way its performed BEFORE YOU HEAR IT? (i.e. how can you assume that all dj's are worse than 'live' performer right off the bat?) Reality is, its a new medium...new instruments...new way to "perform" and there will always be people resisting it the way they resisted rock and roll and later digital music and photography. concrete cookie p.s. I've been to plenty of "rock" concerts where I paid $20, the artist was no bigger than a peanut...couldn't tell if the were LIVE if my life depended on it but still had a great time....
