With regards to the DSP thing that I mentioned earlier in this thread...
I read about it in some magazine (could've been Keyboard) interview
about a year ago where he mentioned about how his current shows were
pretty much DATs being fed through a DSP box or two. This was in
reference to the shows he did that were mostly Go Plastic stuff so I
can't speak for glasto or whatever. He also spoke profusely about the
mindfuck or headfuck (i forget which) that was the crux of his music.
Perhaps his new piece of verbose writing that accompanies the new album
is his way of expounding on the mysterious headfuck that guides his
inspiration.
Even if he released a crappy live CD and has recently been doing
disappointing shows, Tom Jenkinson still rules the school. He was the
first IDM I ever heard and is still one of my favorites.
