Not by me. I maintain that he's only doing what he has always done - be a
chameleon, and quite well, thank you.
I think that some people became familiar with him during a certain period
when he was popular (the one in which he probably had the greatest success
in terms of being "big") and so when he does what he has always done, they
see it as a loss of his "originality".
Stand him next to Jagger and he looks quite relevant. And I've heard far
less acceptable attempts to incorporate the electronic cultural currency
into an old-line popstar's playlist than "Earthling".
