If anyone on this list would like to share his views, perspectives or
experiences about Hong Kong and China, I would greatly appreciate it. Its
nice to get ideas from people in the same frame of mind. So I'll be
travelling there with my girlfriend in the next few weeks. We'll be landing
in Hong Kong and later we'll head north to Beijing where we'll be staying at
a friends house. I'd also like to see the streets of Shanghai. From what I
read in books and mags, I expect the language barrier to be immense but I
hope we'll still enjoy the trip. I guess food is another thing that'll be
very different from here in Canada. I expect a big hot and humid wave
hitting us when I get out of the plane in Hong Kong. I'm sure that i'll
remember this trip for a long time.
