Hi, I don't remember this book/CD getting mentioned on these lists but
if it has been, my apologies.
Yesterday I picked up a book put together by someone called the
@mbassadors and it features a fair amount of artwork by the young
British artists' school. Graphically, it's really engaging and makes a
great coffee table book. What makes it more interesting to these lists
is the CD that comes packaged in the cover with collaborations between
some of the visual artists and music artists. Of particular note to
these lists, I'd point out the Brian Eno, Marc Quinn collaboration and
the track by Rufus Knightwebb and Derrick May. May and Knightwebb also
contribute a collaborative photo entry in the book as well of a Detroit
fire engine spraying water on a blaze that looks like its at Belle Isle.
All in all, I reckon there is enough little interesting things in the
images and sounds to appeal to a large chunk of you out there. The book
came out in 1998 and I found it at a bargain-blow-out bookstore for $20
US, well worth it I'd say, and as those blow-out book places tend to buy
from one central distributor, I'd say there's a pretty good chance
there's a bunch of these floating around America's bargain shelves.
Online, I could only find it at Amazon UK for 24 pounds:

project came about, I'd love to see it.
Thanks!
