How about scala's 1996 cover of "Heart of Glass" on BEAUTY NOWHERE? I wish scala were still around. I got into them after being a fan of Locust and Seefeel, but I think they broke up shortly after I discovered them. Anyway, that "Heart of Glass" is a favorite tune I use to try and reel potential IDM fans in, but it never works as well as I might want. Seems that uninitiated folks are more likely to get into Boards of Canada or even Autechre (BION) than Scala. Go figure. Brian Begin forwarded message: From: "donna summer" <donnasummerwfmu@hotmail.com> Let's say it out loud: "Heart of Glass" may be one of the best songs ever- up there with "Turn to Stone" by ELO, the Pink Floyd back catelogue, "London Calling" by the Clash, and evrything on Fear of a Black Planet.
