This has nothing to do with "censorship in the US". They said
blacklist---basically meaning unmarketable I would assume (they have no
label in the US and no one would want to pick them up).
Its unfortunate UK media sources would run a story to insinuate there is
some evil force (blacklisting? must be a government agency!) keeping art
unheard in US, especially considering the British government has been
censoring art there for quite some time. The only force keeping Primal
Scream down in the US is pure economics.
