I have the Lords of Chaos book. I read it about a year ago. But ended up
buying it last week. It's a really really good book if you're into Black
Metal or just interested in it. Crazy crazy happenings in the scene over in
Europe. Church burnings, murders, all sorts of crazy crap.

if you like Husker Du, there's a rad chapter on them in the semi-recently
released Our Band Could Be Your Life boook which also features chapters on
MinuteMen, Minor Threat, Replacements, Dino Jr., Sonic YOuth, Butthole
Surfers, Beat Happening... pretty amazing read. i highly recommend it.
so, if you've got a B+N gift certificate from the holidays still lying
around go get some read on! ... has anyone read "Lords of Kaos," the
death-metal history book? i think i'm pickin that up this week.
and i didn't even like Suger much...
