deep space? how deep? only one of the Voyagers has left our solar system... Voyager 2 if I remember right. Yeah, when I worked on the Galileo flight team we got to listen to a recording made as the Voyagerpassed through the heliopause - that's where hydrogen ions radiated by the sun basically stop moving away from the sun.
