The first Four Tet album is more sparse and rambly. I really like both, but 'Pause' sounds much more full sounding and "well" produced (in the most traditional sense) than the first, which is a bit more like an old Mo'Wax record. 'Dialogue' (I think that's the name of the first one) doesn't have the folky bits either ... more organs and some flute and some jazz samples.
