Doesn't AllMusic do something like this already? They have a 'see also'
section for each artist (although I think Jean Michel Jarre is there in
Autechre's listing, ahem......) and music maps, which do a pretty good
job of categorizing genres while realising that each one doesn't exist
in a vacuum.
