I like to keep an open mind... People make films for sound as do artists. I do not for one second think that what Autechre (and others) produce within the complexity of the Arrangement or Production would be problematic within film. Yes I agree with the 'Confield' album being more structural than tumbrel, why would that affect using their technique within in a film? I am not saying that it would be wise to use their methods consistently throughout. If you know how to apply theirs or others with ideas into film then the results can be very interesting.
