"Dr. Sumrux! OPERATION!"
hmmm. i thought it was a muscle - not a bone.
the "zygomaticus" or "zygomatic muscle".
for interested folks:
this thing is one important element in studies concerning the "Facial-Feedback-Hypothesis"
--> this means that information about the activity of your mimic muscles is used by your brain to "detect" which emotion you should feel or so.[weird, err?] studies have shown that when reading cartoons people tend to find them funnier if their "ziggomaticus" is in use [for example while trying to hold a pen with your teeth and thus *unconsciously* forming a smile]
this can explain lots of interesting things.
sheds a different light on simple advices like "keep smiling!" - coz this this can really have an effect on your emotions...
so: use your ziggomatic muscle and increase your happiness and subjective wellbeing
whatever. ; )

Wow, how the hell did you know that? Actually, it's a small facial bone in
the upper part of the human face. In the cheekbone structure, actually.
