i dont know the definition of snare rush, but my guess would be a succesion rapidly repeating snare hits i supose you could get that sound with a brush, but i think most of the snare rushes(if they are really snare rushes) occur in electronic music with a sampled snare or an electronicaly created snare drum sound as far as the snare rush sounding things in the vlf recordings i would imagine they are produced my a sucession of rapidly repeating lghtning strikes.
