This is *kinda* music related and if someone could direct me to a better place to ask this question I would be much obliged.
Currently I have an M Audio Delta DIO 2496 sound card.
Info on the card can be found here:
http://www.midiman.net/products/m-audio/dio2496.htm
There is a new line of sound cards from Creative Labs called the Audigy.
The complete line can be accessed via the products tab on this page:
http://www.soundblaster.com/audiophiles/
A complete review of that card can be found here:

What I like about this card is it's firewire support.
Getting one of these would allow me to free up a PCI slot
as well as removing the Delta card.
Currently I am *very* happy with the Delta card.
My setup involves two turntables, a mixer, an A/D converter, and in to the Delta DIO using SPDIF.
I'm not really concerned with any of the other features of either of these cards.
I just want the best quality sound coming IN to my computer.
My only problem is I would like firewire support but have no free PCI slots.
So.... if I ditched the Delta and got one of these Audigy's - would I get the same kind of recording quality?
Sorry if this question is waaaay off topic for you all but I'm sure some of you out there know a thing or two or three about computers, sound cards, recording etc.
Thanks in advance
