Man you guys. I had the exact same experience. I was stoked to get Vespertine months before the release date but was not impressed with it at all. Disappointed actually. I only listened to it a few times. When it got a full release in the shops I picked it up and it sounded much different than the Soulseek version. I was quite surprised. So can anything be learned from this? Like free music doesn't stop people from buying it in the shops? How many of you are *not* going to buy Drukqs because you already got it on Soulseek? Same thing with Confield - did you buy the full release after you'd already had it on MP3 for a few months? I certainly did. NOT to bring up this age old debate but damn, I'm so sick of the lackluster quality of 128k MP3's No high-end, no bottom. These things sound like shit on a good stereo.
